Show no. 14 - Stephen Campbell

Stephen Campbell was just 20 years old when he started serving a nearly 10-year stint in prison in relation to a 2006 drug-related shooting in Hartford. But that experience led to a growth that has now resulted in Campbell publishing his own book of poems, titled “Sea Through Emotions: Poetry from a Mental Prison.”

Be open. It’s not the end - anything is possible. Some of the people that you look to right now that you feel are the most successful - they hit a bottom…It’s about what you gonna do when you hit the bottom.

OUR MISSION

Falling up is a mentality; a way of life. It’s having the perspective that obstacles are opportunities to grow and develop. The Falling Up Podcast hosts conversations aimed to empower, inspire, and promote self-betterment. We cannot take back our past actions, however we can use the lessons learned to live a life of empathizing, mending and giving.
